HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-08-28; Planning Commission; Resolution 2479> 0 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2479 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A ZONE CHANGE FROM RD-M (RESIDENTIAL DENSITY MULTIPLE) TO R-1-7500 ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF LA COSTA AVENUE, WEST OF LA CORUNA PLACE, APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD CASE NO: zc-337 7 8 WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property, to wit: Lot 180 of La Costa Unit 1 according to Map No. 6117 9 filed June 3, 1968, 10 lanning Commission; and 11 ?as been filed with the City of Carlsbad, and referred to the 12 WHEREAS, said application constitutes a request as 13 law to consider said request; and 16 August, 1985, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by 15 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 28th day of 14 provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and 17 WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and 18 20 desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors 19 considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons 21 elating to the Zone Change; and I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning 22 following findings and subject to the following conditions: 25 B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the 24 A) That the above recitations are true and correct. 23 Commission as follows: Commission recommends APPROVAL of 2C-337, based on the 26 //I/ 28 I/// 27 //I/ ii 1 0 0 1 2 3 Findings: 1) The proposed zone change is consistent with the City's General Plan since the R-1-7500 zone is consistent with and implements the Residential Low Medium Density land use designation proposed for the site, as discussed in the staff report. ~ 4 2) The proposed zone change is consistent and compatible with surrounding residential land uses and zoning, as discussed in 5 the staff report. 6 7 8 9 3) This action will not cause any significant environmental impacts and a Negative Declaration has been issued by the Land Use Planning Manager on August 10, 1985, and approved by the Planning Commission on August 28, 1985.
