A mSOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, mCOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A ZONE
CHANGE FROM RD-M-Q, FESIDENTIAL DENSITY-MULTIPLE WITH A
QUALIFIED DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY TO PC, PLANNED COMMUNITY ON
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF BATIQUITOS
LAGOON BETWEEN CARLSBAD BOULEVARD AND INTERSTATE 5.

WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property, to

All of lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Parcel Map Number 13653,
together with a portion of the west half of Section 33,

Findings:
1) The project is consistent with the City's General Plan since
the proposed uses and residential intensities are allowed
and/or are within the density ranges specified for the
properties as indicated on the Land Use Element of the General
Plan and a Master Plan is required to further implement the
General Plan and the P-C zone.
