RESOLUTION NO. 2563
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA GRANTING AN EXTENSION
TO A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN
AMENDMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 185 APARTMENT
UNITS AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF ELM AVENUE
APPLICANT: RISING GLEN APARTMENTS
EXTENSION AT EL CAMINO REAL IN THE RDM-Q ZONE.
CASE NO.: SDP 84-3(A)
WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted a request for an
extension of SDP 84-3(A) which otherwise would expire on June
26, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the extension is necessary to permit grading
of the large scale project and to arrange for financing of
offsite improvements including the extension of Elm Avenue
from its existing terminus east to El Camino Real; and
WHEREAS, the connection of Elm Avenue is an important
link in the City's circulation system,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Planning
Commission of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitations are true and

2. That SDP 84-3!A) will expire on June 26, 1987
unless building permits for the project are issued prior to that
date.
3. That this extension shall be valid only if a final
map for CT 83-20 is filed prior to July 17, 1986.

Carlsbad Planning Commission held on the 23rd day of
Apr-1,1986 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Chairman Schlehuber, Commissioners: Holmes apd
NOES: Commissioners : McFadden and Hall.
ABSENT: Commissioner Smith.
