PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2569 I
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF STREET NAME CHANGE FROM FOREST
STREET TO WINTERGREEN DRIVE LOCATED JUST EAST
OF MONROE, WEST OF EL CAMINO REAL AND SOUTH OF
MARRON ROAD.
APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD
CASE NO: SNC-22
WHEREAS, a name conflict exists with Forest Street, which
is east of Monroe and west of El Camino Real and Forest Avenue
which is west of Highland Drive and west of El Camino Real, both of'
which are located south of Marron road; and
WHEREAS, Forest Avenue is located in an area that has beer
developed for many years and Forest Street in McKellar Homes tract
is newly developed; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal
Code, the Planning Commission did on July 30, 1986, hold a duly
noticed public hearing to consider said proposed street name
change; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and
considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons
desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors
relating to the street name change; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning
Commission as follows:
A) That the above recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing,
the Commission recommends APPROVAL of SNC-22 based on the
following findings:

1) That the street name change would eliminate an existing
duplication of names; and
2) That the street name change would not adversely impact the
City's street name policy; and

3) That the street name change would not adversely impact
residences along the subject street.
PASSED, APPOVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the

the 30th of July, 1986 by the following vote to wit: 4
