HomeMy WebLinkAbout1986-07-30; Planning Commission; Resolution 2582c .* e 0 1 .2 3 4 5 (6 7 8 9 10 1:1 12 13 1.4 15 16 1'7 I13 19 1 20 2:L 22 2 ;3 24 2 5 2 6 2 7 28 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2582 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A ZONE CHANGE FROM RD-M-Q TO R-l- 10 ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF EL CAMINO REAL AND CHESTNUT AVENUE, APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD CASE NO: ZC-346 WHEREAS, a verified application .for certain property, to wit: A subdivision of Lots 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29 of Chestnut Heights per Map No. 5328 filed January 17, 1964, has been filed with the City of Carlsbad, and referred to the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, said application constitutes a request as provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 30th day of July, 1986, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by la to consider said request; and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and .w I I considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to the Zone Change; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commission as follows: A) That the above recitations are true and correct. B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Commission recommends APPROVAL of ZC-346, as shown on Exhibit "A", dated July 8, 1986 attacked hereto and made a part hereof, based on the following findings: //// I //// ~ I \ -.h 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 a 9 10 11 12 13 1!4 1.5 3.6 3.7 3.8 1.9 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 2.8 e 0 Findings: 1) The proposed zoning of R-1-10 is consistent with the site's RLM, Residential Low Medium density 0-4 du/ac General Plan designation. 2) The proposed zoning of R-1-10 will implement the site's RLM, Residential Low Medium, 0-4 General Plan designation. 3) The uses allowed by the proposed R-1-10 zone will be compatible with surrounding properties which are zoned R-l- 10000 and developed with detached single family homes. 4 1 This project will not cause any significant environmental impacts and a Negative Declaration has been issued by the Planning Director on July 12, 1986 and approved by the Planning Commission on July 30, 1986. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting Of the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 30th day of July, 1986, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: &airman Schlehuber, corranissioners: @Bane, ~cus, NOES: None.
