HomeMy WebLinkAbout1986-08-13; Planning Commission; Resolution 2588c ., 0 0 1 2 3 4 5 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2588 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF ZONE CHANGES AS SHOWN ON EXHIBIT "C" DATED JULY 30, 1986 FOR PROPERTIES GENEKALLY LOCATED WITHIN THE AREA COVERED BY THE SEAPOINTE CARLSBAD LAND USE STUDY. APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD CASE NO: ZC-338 t5 ll WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property, 7// has been filed with the City of Carlsbad, and referred to the 8// Planning Commission; and I 9 iJHEREAS, said application constitutes a request as IL0 provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and :L1 :L 2 :13 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 13th day of August, 1986, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to consider said request; and :14 11 WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and :15 // considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons :L 6 :1 7 desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to the Zone Change; and :L8 /I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning - :L9 11 Commission as follows: 20 21 2 2 2 3 2 4 2 5 26 27 A) That the above recitations are true and correct. ~ B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the . Commission recommends APPROVAL of ZC-338, as shown on Exhibit "C" dated July 30, 1986 attached hereto and made a part hereof, based on the following findings and subject to the following conditions: F ind ings : 1) The proposed zone changes will bring the subject properties zoning into conformance with their proposed General Plan designations. 2 8 - I, I1 e 0 ly ) The uses allowed in the proposed zones will be compatible with uses allowed on the surrounding properties for the reasons discussed in the attached staff report and the 2 Seapointe-Carlsbad Land Use Study. II: 6 7 The proposed zone changes are in conformance with the recommendations for changes to the subject properties Local Coastal Plan designations as discussed in the attached staff report.
