A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN
AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE MAPS IN THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM NO DESIGNATION TO TRANSPORTATION CORRIDOR (TC) AND AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT TEXT FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED WITHIN THE ATCHISON TOPEKA &
SANTA FE RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY AND THE 1-5 FREEWAY I APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD 1 CASE NO.: GPA/LU 86-7
81 WHEREAS, a verified application for an amendment to the

General Plan designation for certain property located, as shown on
Exhibit "A", dated July 29, 1986, attached and incorporated
herein, has been filed with the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request
for amendment as provided in Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal
Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 13th day of

August, 1986 and on the 27th day of August, 1986 hold a duly
noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to consider said
jlrequest ;
19 11 I WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and

esiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors
22 I //relating to the General Plan Amendment.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning
Commission of the City of Carlsbad, as follows:
A) That the above recitations are true and correct.
B) That the Land Use Element is amended to read as follows:
1) Item 17, on Page 34, be added to read:

the 27th day of August, 1986, by the following vote, to wit: 4
