PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2660
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A ZONE CODE
AMENDMENT, AMENDING TITLE 21, CHAPTER 21.41 , SECTION
21.41.076 (C) (1) , OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE TO ALLOW
THE PLANNING DIRECTOR TO APPROVE ADDITIONAL COMMUNITY
DIRECTIONAL SIGNS.
APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD
CASE NO.: ZCA-200
WHEREAS, the Planning Commisson did, on the 20th day of

May, 1987, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law
10 WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and
11 considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons
l2 /I desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors

relating to the Zone Code Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning

Commission as follows: .\
A) That the above recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the
Commission recommends APPROVAL of ZCA-200, according to
Exhibit "A", dated May 20, 1987, attached hereto and made a
part hereof, based on the following findings:
3.9 I/ /Findings:
20 1. This project will not cause any significant environmental
21 impacts, and a Declaration of Negative Environmental Impact
has been issued by the Planning Director on May 6, 1987.
22 2. Planning Director shall be able to approve kiosk locations
23 providing that locations shall not interfere with public
safety for reasons stated in the staff report.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
'lanning Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on
the 20th of May, 1987, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Chairman Marcus, Commissioners, McBane, McFadden,
Hall, Schramm, Holmes & Hall.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTAIN: None.
