PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2775 3 /I 4l 5 /I I/ 6l 7 .I I/ A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN TO CONSTRUCT AN AUTO RETAIL CENTER. CASE NO.: SDP 88-3 APPLICANT: CARLTAS AUTO CENTER WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 19th day of October, 1988, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed 8 9 by law to consider said request, and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering lo all testimony and arguments, examining the initial study, ''11 analyzing the information submitted by staff, and considering ''/I any written comments received, the Planning Commission 1311 considered all factors relating to the Negative Declaration. l4 I( NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning 1511 Commission as follows: I l6 l7 A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct. B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Planning Commission hereby recommends APPROVAL of the l8 1 Negative Declaration according to Exhibit rlNDvl dated August 5, 1988 and IrPIIrv, dated July 29, 1988, attached hereto and I' [I made a part hereof, based on the following findings: /I 2o I 21 22 23 24 25 I 26 Findinss: 1. A field survey and Part I1 of the initial study shows that there is no substantial evidence that the project may have a significant impact on the environment. 2. The site has been previously graded pursuant to the approved Final Map and grading plan of CT 87-3. The proposed grading for this project will not significantly alter the site although 7,400 cubic yards of earth will be moved from the existing stockpile on the Ecke property. 27 28 3. "A" street and lrBlr street in the Car Country Expansion have been designed to accommodate the traffic that the dealerships are expected to generate. r, il 0 e /I 11 1, 4. There are no sensitive resources on the site. Environmental assessment for CT 87-3 identified an archaeological site within the tract, but this project does not come within the limits of this site. 2 * // 3 ;I PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the 51i Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on I/ ii the 19th day of October, 1988, by the following vote, to wit: /I AYES: Chairperson McFadden, Commissioner: Schramm, Holmes 6 ,: 7 ,: 8 9 Erwin, Marcus and Schlehuber.
