PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2797
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A ZONE CODE AMENDMENT, AMENDING TITLE 21, CHAPTER 90, SECTION .030(c), OF THE CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL CODE, BY THE ADDITION OF SUBSECTION (13) TO PROVIDE
FOR CONCURRENT PROCESSING OF CERTAIN MASTER PLANS.

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 16th day of November, 1988,

B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Commission recommends of ZCA 88-9, according to Exhi bit "l", dated
November 8, 1988, attached hereto and made a part hereof, based on the
following findings and subject to the following findings.
Fi ndi nss :
1. This Zone Code Amendment is consistent with the General Plan's intent of preserving the public's health, safety, and welfare because it will ensure the adequacy of public facilities are made part of the Master Pl an process.
2. This Zone Code Amendment is consistent with the overall intent of the City's Growth Management Program.
3. This Zone Code Amendment will not cause any significant adverse impacts on the environment because a Negative Declaration was issued by the Planning Director on November 9, 1988 and recommended for approval by the Plannning Commission on November 16, 1988.

PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 16th day of
November, 1988, by the following vote, to wit:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING, TITLE 21, CHAPTER 21.90, SECTION 21.90.030(c) BY THE ADDITION OF
SUBSECTION (13) TO PROVIDE FOR CONCURRENT PROCESSING
OF CERTAIN MASTER PLANS

The City Council hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1: Title 21, Chapter 21.90, Section 21.90.030(c) is amended by
7// the addition of Subsection (13) to read as follows:
8 (13) Master P1 ans or General P1 an Amendments in connection with Master
9 Plans which do not increase the residential density or the overall development
lo intensity or facility needs established by the existing General Plan provided

13 EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its
