HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-12-07; Planning Commission; Resolution 2802.. 0 0 1 2 3 4 5 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2802 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ALLOWING A WATCHMAN TO OCCUPY A SELF CONTAINED RECREATIONAL VEHICLE AT THE CALAVERA HILLS RECREATIONAL VEHICLE STORAGE FACILITY ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE SEWER TREATMENT PLANT IN THE CALAVERA HILLS MASTER PLAN AREA. APPLICANT: CALAVERA HILLS RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARK CORPORATION ' CASE NO.: PCD 87-3(A) 6 WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property to wit: 7 A1 1 that portion of Lots "D", "E" and "J" of Rancho Agua Hedi onda According to Map 823 f i 1 ed November 16, 1986, 8 9 10 has been filed with the City of Carl sbad and referred to the P1 anning Commission; and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as provided x' I/ by Title 21 of the Carl sbad Municipal Code; and I.2 I! WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 7th day of December, 1988, 13 14 15 16 17 consider said request; and WHEREAS, at said hearing, upon hearing and considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to the Planning Commission Determination; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the P1 anning Commission as l8 1 foll ows: 19 I IA) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct. 20 21 22 23 24 25 B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Commission APPROVES PCD 87-3(A), based on the following findings and subject to the following conditions: Findinqs: 1) The proposed amendment to allow one self contained recreational vehicle to be occupied by a watchman will not adversely impact adjacent residences, since the vehicle will be self contained and there will be no significant increase in noise, light or activity. 26 2) The proposed amendment to all ow a watchman to reside within the facility vehicles being stored within the facility. 27 should help to reduce the incidents of breakins and vandalism to the 28 ~ ,. * a Conditions: 1) All conditions of Planning Commission Resolution No. 2466 remain in effect 1 2 and shall be complied with. 3 4 2) No more then one self contained recreational vehicle shall be occupied during any time period. 3) The self contained recreational vehicle occupied by a watchman shall have 5 an operating tel ephone. 6 4) No wastewater of any type shall be disposed of on-site unless a wastewater disposal system is constructed to the satisfaction of the Planning Director 7 and City Engineer. 8 9 10 PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the P1 anning Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 7th day of December, 1988, by the following vote, to wit: 11 12 AYES: Vice Chairman Hall, Commissioners: Schramm, Schlehuber, Holmes, Erwin and Marcus. 13 ABSENT: Chairperson McFadden. 14 NOES: None.
