The proposed Zone Change and zoning boundary adjustments as Exhi bit "A", dated February 1, 1989 will implement the corn1 residenti a1 1 and use boundary of Carl sbad's General P1 an Coast a1 Program. 2. The proposed Zone Change from RD-M to RP-Q as shown on Exhibi foster enhanced land use compatibility by creating the poten nonresidential transmittal land use between a busy intersc comnercial 1 and use and surrounding residential areas to thc north. The proposed Zone Change provides a better associatior and topography for a transition area between comnercial and r districts. The proposed Zone Change promotes a positive separ surrounding residential planned areas by an existing and propc PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of thl Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 1 February, 1989, by the following vote, to wit: AYES : Chairperson Hall, Commissioners: Schramm, Schlehubc Holmes, Erwin, McFadden and Marcus.
