HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-02-01; Planning Commission; Resolution 2819v 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 i 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 ,I e 0 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2819 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSB CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE CARLS LOCAL COASTAL PROGRAM TO BRING THE DESIGNATIONS ON THE LO COASTAL PROGRAM, LAND USE PLAN; GENERAL PLAN; AND ZONING MAP I CONFORMANCE ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF CAMINO REAL AND ALGA ROAD. APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD CASE NO.: LCPA 88-2 WHEREAS, California State law requires that the Local Coas General Program, and Zoning designations for properties in the Coast; in conformance; WHEREAS, a verified appl ication for an amendment to the Loci Program implementing zoning designations for certain property located on Exhi bi t(s) "A, dated February 1, 1989, attached and incorporated h been filed with the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request f Change as provided in Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 1st day of Febru hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to cor proposed Local Coastal P1 an Amendment shown on Exhibit (s) "A", and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and consic testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be h Commission considered all factors relating to the Local Coastl Amendment to the implementing zoning. WHEREAS, State Coastal Guidelines requires a six week pub period for any amendment to the Local Coastal Program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commis! B) At the end of the State mandated six week review period, st August 11, 1988, and ending on September 18, 1988, staff shal to the City Council a summary of the comments received. C) That based on the evidence presented at the public heal Commission recommends APPROVAL of LCPA 88-2 as shown on Exh dated February 1, 1989, attached hereto and made a part hereoi the following findings: Findinqs: 1. The proposed Zone Change is consistent with the Land designations of Carlsbad's adopted Local Coastal Program which I the area for commercial and residential land uses. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regul ar meeting of thc Commission of the City of Carlsbad, held on the 1st day of February the following vote, to wit: AYES : Chairperson Hall, Commissioners Schramm, Schlehuber Holmes, Erwin, McFadden and Marcus.
