HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-05-17; Planning Commission; Resolution 28531 ll 0 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2853 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING CERTIFICATION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR A GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY FOR PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS TO CANNON ROAD AND TO A SEWER INTERCEPTOR AND PUMP STATION. APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD CASE NO.: EIR 87-2 WHEREAS, on the 19th day of April 1989 and on the 17th day of Mi 1 Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad, held a public hearing a 9 3.0 11 12 13 14 15 16 1'7 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 pursuant to the provisions of Title 19 of the Carlsbad Municipal Coc WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the comments a1 of all those persons testifying at the public hearing; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received EIR 87-2 accor requirements of Title 19 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of Carl sbad as foll ows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the Environmental Impact Report, EIR 87-2 will bc include the comments and documents of those testifying a hearing and responses thereto, hereby found to be in go reason, by incorporating a copy of the minutes of hearings into the report. 3. That the Planning Commission finds and determine' Environmental Impact Report, EIR 87-2, has been c conformance with the California Environmental qual ity Ac guidelines implementing said Act, and the provisions of the Carlsbad Municipal Code and that the Planning COI reviewed, considered and evaluated the information cont report. 4. That the Environmental Impact Report, EIR 87-2, as so evaluated, is recommended for acceptance and certi fic, final Environmental Impact Report and that the final E Impact Report as recommended is adequate and provide information on the project and a1 1 reasonable a alternatives thereto, including no project. 5.
