HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-06-07; Planning Commission; Resolution 2849v- ;.' . 0 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 a 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 I 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2849 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSB CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO TENTAT TRACT MAP AND PLANNED DEVELOPMENT ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCA SOUTH OF PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD AND EAST OF FUTURE COLLEGE BOULEVP APPLICANT: COBBLESTONE SEA VILLAGE CASE NO. : CT 84-32(A) WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property to wit: All that parcel of land designated as "description No. 5, 10: acres" as shown and delineated on record of Survey Map No. 5: filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego COUI December 19, 1960, being a portion of Lot "G" of the Rancho 1 Hedionda in the County of San Diego, State of Cal ifornia, accorc to Map thereof No. 823, filed in the Office of County Recorde, San Diego County, November 16, 1896., has been filed with the City of Carl sbad and referred to thf Commi ss ion ; and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as F Tit1 e 21 of the Carl sbad Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 14th day of Aug the 3rd day of May, 1989, and the 7th day of June, 1989 hold a du pub1 ic hearing as prescribed by law to consider said request; and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and consi testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be I Commission considered all factors relating to the Tentative Tra P1 anned Unit Devel opment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the P1 anning Cor fol 1 ows : A) That the above recitations are true and correct. This plan shall include the planting of a maximum of thirty (30) trees. 6) Condition No. 33 is amended to read; (33) All slopes within this project shall be no steeper than 2:l. Terrace ditches shall be required on all slopes where existing terrain 5:l or steeper. 7) Condition No. 43 is amended to read; (43) Plans, specifications, and supporting documenl improvements shall be prepared to the satisfaction o Engineer. All private streets drainage systems shall be inspected by the City, and the stanc improvement plan check and inspection fees shall be paid prio’ approval of the final map for this project. 9) Condition No. 52 is amended to read; (52) Street improvements shall be installed to the satisfac of the City Engineer prior to occupancy of any units within phased devel opment as foll ows: A. PHASE ONE AND PHASE TWO: 1) College Boulevard full width as noted in Condition 2) Cobblestone Road and Cobblestone Drive full width a 3) Extension of Sapphire Drive as noted in condition r\ 4) Golden Road full width as noted in Condition No. 4? 5) Extension of Turquoise Drive full width to the inter Condition No. 43. Prior to the recordation of the first final tract/parcel issuance of residential building permits, whichever is first of record of the property within the boundaries of this tract/parcel map shall prepare and record a notice (Form No. this property is subject to overflight, sight, and sound ( operating from Palomar Airport in a manner meeting the apprc Planning Director and the City Attorney. 15.
