APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD PLAN TO PROHIBIT ON-SHORE OIL AND GAS SUPPORT FACILITIES. CASE NO.: LCPA 89-1 WHEREAS, California State law requires that the Local Coas General Plan, and Zoning designations for properties in the Coastal conformance; WHEREAS, a verified application for an amendment to the LOC Plan has been filed with the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request for as provided in Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 2nd day of August, a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to consider th Local Coastal P1 an Amendments shown on Exhibi t(s) "A" through "F", WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and consi testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be t Commission considered all factors re1 ating to the Local Coastal Plan WHEREAS, State Coastal Guidelines requires a six week put period for any amendment to the Local Coastal Program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the P1 anning Commis City of Carlsbad, as follows: A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct. B) That the State mandated six week review period, was provide on May 24, 1989, and ending on July 5, 1989 and, staff has f the Planning Commission a summary of the comments received.
