CASE NAME: CHRIST UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A FIVE-YEAR EXTENSION OF A CONDITIONAL CASE NO: CUP - 229x1 WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the City ( and referred to the P1 anni ng Commi ssi on; and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as 1 Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code, tt Commission did, on the 7th day of March, 1990, hold a duly noti hearing to consider said application on property described as: That portion of Lot 249 of La Costa Vale Unit 1, Map 7547 an( 181 and 182 of Santa Fe Glens Map No. 8059 WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and consil testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be h Commission considered all factors relating to CUP 229x1. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the P1 anning Commis! City of Carlsbad as follows: A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct. B) That based on the evidence presented at the public he; Commission APPROVE a five year extension for CUP - 229, ba following findings and subject to the following conditions: Fi ndi nqs: 1. That the requested use is necessary or desirable for the dew the community, is essentially in harmony with the various el objectives of the general plan, and is not detrimental to ex' or to uses specifically permitted in the zone in which the pl is to be located: 2. That all of the yards, setbacks, walls, fences, landscaping, features necessary to adjust the proposed church to existing or future uses in the neighborhood will be provided and maintain1 4. The environmental impacts of this project have already been 1 during the original approval of CUP-229, resulting in the issl Negative Declaration dated May 5, 1983. Staff has issued a Prior Environmental Compliance dated December 13, 1989. 6. Conditions: 1. All conditions of approval imposed upon CUP - 229 as stated i Commission Resolution No. 2127 shall apply as conditions of ai CUP - 229x1. 2. This conditional use permit is extended for a period of fivt from June 8, 1988, and will expire on June 8, 1993 unless extensions are approved.
