HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-04-04; Planning Commission; Resolution 29261 2 3 4 5 6 7 a 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2926 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY OF THE ENCINA BASIN WATER RECLAMATION PROJECT FACILITIES PLAN. APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD CASE NO.: PCD/GPC 89-6 WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property to wit: Conceptual locations shown on the attached Exhibit "A", has been filed with the City of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 20th day of September, 1989, and the 4th day of April, 1990, consider said request; and WHEREAS, at said hearing, upon hearing and considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to the Planning Commission Determination; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commission as follows: A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct. B) 'fiat based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Commission APPROVES PCD/GPC 89-6, based on the following findings and subject to the following conditions: Findings : 1. The water reclamation program conserves potable water resources by a more effective utilization of the City's water resources. 2. 'fie water reclamation program provides water reclamation facilities to service existing and future landscape water needs, without significant expansion of potable water supplies consistent with the Conservation Element of the General Plan. 3. Prior to development of any of the specific facilities, a specific site analysis will be done to ensure environmental protection and design compatibility. ....
