PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2999
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING CERTIFICATION OF AN
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR A GENERAL PLAN
CONSISTENCY FOR PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS TO PORTIONS
OF THE SOUTH AGUA HEDIONDA SEWER INTERCEPTOR SYSTEM.
APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD
CASE NO.: EIR 83-4A
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of May 1990, the Planning Commission of
Carlsbad, held a public hearing on EIR 83-4A pursuant to the provisions of Titi
Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the comments and dc
all those persons testifying at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received EIR 83-4A accord
requirements of Title 19 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of
Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Environmental Impact Report, EIR 83-4A will be amended to
comments and documents of those testifying at the public hearing anc
thereto, hereby found to be in good faith and reason, by incorporatin
the minutes of said public hearings into the report.
3. That the Planning Commission finds and determines that the Environmc
Report, EIR 83-4A, has been completed in conformance with thl
Environmental Quality Act, the state guidelines implementing said P
provisions of Title 19 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code and that tt
Commission has reviewed, considered and evaluated the informatiol
in the report.
4. That the Environmental Impact Report, EIR 83-4A, as so amended anc
is hereby accepted and certified as the final Environmental Impact Rep
the final Environmental Impact Report as certified is adequate an
reasonable information on the project and all reasonable and feasible
thereto, including no project.

5. The Environmental Impact Report (EIR 83-4A) identified a number
significant impacts created by this project and possible mitigation
reduce these impacts to a level of insignificance. These mitigation m
been incorporated into the conditions of approval for this project I
cases the project has been revised to reduce all impacts tc
insignificance.
6. That the proposed project shall comply with the environment
monitoring program indicated on the attached Exhibit A, dated May
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 2nd day of May 1990 by the folio\
