A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSE
CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL USE PERMIT 1
A 180 LOT SUBDIVISION WITH 174 RESIDENTIAL LOTS GENERALLY LOCA
AT THE SOUTH EASTERLY CORNER OF THE CITY ADJACENT TO THE CITI
ENCINITAS.
CASE NAME: RANCHO VERDE
CASE NO: SUP 90-5
WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property to wit:
Portions of Lots 8, 9, and 15 of the subdivision of Rancho Las Encinitas, ir
thereof No. 848, filed in the office of the County Recorder of said San 1
County, June 27, 1898.
City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, according to
has been filed with the City of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as provided by Ti
Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 6th day of June, 1990, an(

WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all tf

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commissio:
A) That the above recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the CommissioI
APPROVAL of SUP 90-5, based on the following findings and subject to
conditions:
Findings:
1. All permit requirements of Chapter 21.110 of the Carkbad Municipal C(
satisfied.
2. The site is reasonably safe from flooding.

3. The site does not adversely afTect the caning capacity of areas where the
elevations have been determined.
Conditions:
1. The approval os SUP 90-5 is contingent upon the approval of CT 89-18.
