A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSE
CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A MASTER PLAN FOR '
DEVELOPMENT OF 1,076 RESIDENTIAL UNITS AND SECONDARY FACILI'
ON PROPERTY LOCATED EAST OF EL CAMINO REAL, NORTH OF OLIVENE
ROAD, AND WEST OF RANCHO SANTA FE ROAD.

WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property to wit:
Those portions of lots 3, 4, 9 and 10 of Rancho Las Encinitas, in the Cj
Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, per map No. 848, filed i
office of the County Recorder of said county on June 27, 1898 know

has been filed with the City of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commissior
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as provided by T
Carlsbad Municipal Code and as shown on Exhibit Y-2 attached hereto and made 2

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 16th day of May, 199(

2. The proposed Master Plan implements the General Plan designation

2. The City of Carlsbad’s Housing Element is under review. Preliminary n

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF CARL!
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING MASTER PLAN 88-1, ARROYO LA COSTA, A Mf!
PLAN COMMUNITY GENERALLY LOCATED ON PROPERTY LOCATED EAS
EL CAMINO FUZAL, NORTH OF OLIVENHAIN ROAD, AND WEST OF k&
SANTA FE ROAD.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California does ordain as follov
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has :
considered a Master Plan for future development of the site; and
WHEREAS, after procedures in accordance with the requirements of law an
has determined that the public interest indicates that said plan be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does ordair
SECTION I: The Arroyo La Costa Master Plan, MP 88-1 dated May 16, 1
