CASE NAME: HOEHN SATURN CASE NO: SDP 90-1 WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the City of C 6 7 referred to the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as providec 8 9 10 11 32 13 14 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code, tl Commission did, on the 15th day of August, 1990, consider said request on property ( Lot 8 of Carlsbad Tract No. 87-3, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San D State of California, according to Map thereof No. 12242 filed in the Office o County Recorder of San Diego County, October 28, 1988. The proposed project does not comply with Development Standard 111, D. of ! 19(Q and item number 2 of the Addendum as stated in the staff report. A including the west elevation do not contain architectural details such as ard comics, corbels, balustrades, and door or window details to provide a vism building and permit the use of stucco surfaces which are only allowed in conjl an architectural feature or design element. A stucco surface is proposed for th elevation which does not comply with the Specific Plan and the west elevati required architectural detail which has been provided by existing projects wj .(h~~~try Expansion Area. 3. The proposed project does not comply with Development Standard 111, F. of ! 198 as employee parking has not been provided to the satisfaction of tl Director. A total of 10 employee spaces are provided whereas Exhiiits "B" ; building floor plans, indicate the project would contain 8 service bays, sales staff, parts department staff, and service managers- In adation, for comp-c recently approved auto dealahip in the Car coun.try Expansion Area, Pacific located adjacent to the site on the north indicated a total number of employe1 provided the necessary parking.
