A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CIT'
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DENYING SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN
SDP 90-1 TO CONSTRUCT AN AUTOMOBILE DEALERSHIP ON PROP1 GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF CAR COUNTRY D

WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the City of C

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code, tl

1. The proposed project does not comply with Development Standard 111, L(3)
Plan 19(C) requiring a minimum screen wall height of 7 feet as the prop0
scheme requiring 1,614 cubic yards of fill to raise the western portion of tht
the actual height of the screen wall to be 5 1/2 feet with the remaining heigh
a retaining walL In addition, the proposed grading concept requiring fill on
portion of the lot is inconsistent with adjacent development and the existing

2. The proposed project does not comply with Development Standard 111, D. of !
19(Q and item number 2 of the Addendum as stated in the staff report. A

located adjacent to the site on the north indicated a total number of employe1
