PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3170
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
WIDE POTABLE WATER MASTER PLAN PREPARED BY THE
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT.
CASE NAME: CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CITY-
CASE NO.: PCD/GPC 90-7 I

WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the City of Carlsbad 1
l and referred to the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as provided by
Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 5th day of December,
1990, and on the 19th day of December, 1990, consider said request; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing, upon hearing and considering all testimony and
arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all
factors relating to the Planning Commission Determination; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commission
as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Commission
APPROVES PCD/GPC 90-7, based on the following findings and subject to the
following conditions:

~ Findings:
~ 1. The proposed Potable Water Master Plan is consistent with the various elements
of the City's General Plan.
2. The proposed Potable Water Master Plan will allow for development of the City-
wide water systems concurrent with development.

1. Each individual improvement project shall be reviewed and coordinated with the 2

City of Carlsbad Utilities and Maintenance Department and the Municipal Projects
division of the Engineering Department to identify any possible conflicts.

PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 19th day of December, 1990,
by the following vote, to wit:

AYES: Chairperson Schramm, Commissioners: Schlehuber, Holmes,
Erwin, Marcus & Hall.

ABSENT: Commissioner McFadden.
