PLANNTNG COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3172
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY DETERMINATION
ON PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS CARRILLO RANCH.
APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD
CASE NO.: PCD/GPC 90-9
WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property to wit:
Portion SEC 19-T125-R3W-POR ROS 9112, 9461,
has been filed with the City of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as provided by Title 21 of the
Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 19th day of December, 1990, consider
said request; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing, upon hearing and considering all testimony and arguments,
if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to the
Planning Commission Determination; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commission as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
€3) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Commission APPROVES
PCD/GPC 90-9, based on the following findings and subject to the following conditions:
Findinns:
1. The CarriUo Ranch Stabilization project is consistent with the General Plan as required by
Section 65401 of the California Government Code.
2. ne stabilization project proposed by the City is excluded from the requirements of the
Growth Management Ordinance, Chapter 21.90.160.
3. The project is categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to Section 15301 (d) of the CEQA
guidelines which exempts the restoration and rehabilitation of deteriorated structures from
environmental review.
