PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3269
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING
ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE
OF EL CAMINO REAL BETWEEN CAMINO HILLS DRIVE AND
AN AREA APPROXIMATELY 230 FEET NORTH OF THE
EXTENSION OF RANCHO CARLSBAD DRIVE.
CASE NAME: EAGLE CANYON
APPROVAL OF A ZONE CHANGE FROM L-C TO R-1 AND OS
CASE NO: ZC 91-5
WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property, to wit:
A portion of Lot F of Rancho Agua Hedionda according to
Map No. 823, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego,
State of California, filed in the Office of the County Recorder
on November 16, 1896.
has been filed with the City of Carlsbad, and referred to the Planning Commission; an(
WHEREAS, said application constitutes a request as provided by Title 21 o
the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 17th day of July, 1991
hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to consider said request; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering a1
testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commissio:
considered all factors relating to the Zone Change; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commissio
as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Commissio
recommends APPROVAL of ZC 91-5 according to "Exhibit Y" attache
conditions.

Findins:
1. The proposed Zone Change R-1 and OS is consistent with all applicable polici and guidelines in the Land Use Ezement of the General Plan as discussed in tl
staff report for the project.
2. The proposed change in zoning designation from L-C to R-1 and 0-S is consista
with the General Plan and will achieve consistency between the General Plan a
Zo&g as required by State Law and the Land Use Element.

3. The residential uses allowed by the proposed Zone Change to R-1 would E
4. All findings of the Conditional Negative Declaration, Resolution No. 3268, ar 8

CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 21 OF THE
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY AN AMENDMENT TO THE
ZONING MAP TO GRANT A ZONE CHANGE, ZC 91-5 FROM
L-C TO R-1 AND 0-S ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
ON THE WEST SIDE OF EL CAMINO REAL, NORTH OF
CAMINO HILLS DRIVE.

8 I! The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does ordain as follow
9 11 SECTION I: That Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by tl 10 I
