PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3289
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITYOF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING GENERAL
PLAN CONSISTENCY FOR THE TRAFFIC INTERSECTION
IMPROVEMENTS AND SIGNAL MODIFICATION ON
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT EL CAMINO REAL
AND TAMARACK AVENUE.
CASE NAME: EL CAMINO REAL AND TAMARACK AVENUE
TRAFFIC INTERSECTION AND SIGNAL MODIFICATION
CASE NO: PCD/GPC 91-3
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 4th day of September,
1991, consider said request; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing, upon hearing and considering all testimony and
arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all
factors relating to the Planning Commission Determination; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning
Commission as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Commissior
APPROVES PCD/GPC 91-3, based on the following findings and subject to the
following conditions:

1. The project is consistent with the goals and policies of the City's General Plan
improvements will make the El Camino Real and Tamarack Avenue IntersectioI
more efficient and safer for vehicles and pedestrians.
The project provides a needed upgrade to a public facility and the intersectio1
2. The Planning Director has determined that the project is exempt fron
environmental review under CEQA Guidelines and will not have a significan
impact on the environment.

Conditions:
1. Prior to issuance of a grading or building permit, whichever occurs first, a Coast;
Development Permit shall be obtained from the California Coastal Commissio~
Said pennit shall be in conformance with this Planning Commission Determinatiol
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Plannin
Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 4th day of September, 199:
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Chairperson Holmes, Commissioners Erwin, Hall, Noblc
Savary, Schlehuber, and Schramm
NOES: None
