PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3322
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITYOF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING GENERAL
PLAN CONSISTENCY FORTHE PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD/I-
5 INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENTS, CASE NAME: PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD/I-5 INTERCHANGE.
CASE NO: PCD/GPC 91-5
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 20th day of November,
1991, consider said request; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing, upon hearing and considering all testimony and
arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all
factors relating to the Planning Commission Determination; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commission
as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Commission
APPROVES PCD/GPC 91-5, based on the following findings:
Findings:
1. The project is consistent with the goals and policies of the City's General Plan.
The policies of the related elements of the General Plan include and permit
adequate circulation and transportation facilities.
2. The Project is consistent with the Circulation Element of the General Plan which
provides for a comprehensive circulation system to serve the present and future mobility needs of Carlsbad and the Greater San Diego area.
3. As the lead agency on the project, CALTRANS has satisfied the environmental
requirements by issuing a categorical exemption on January 16,1991.

PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 20th day of November, 1991,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Chairman Holmes, Commissioners: Schlehuber, Schramm,
Savary and Noble.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Commissioners: Erwin and Hall
ABSTAIN: None.
