SDP 91-10 ON PROPERTY BETWEEN THE PUBLIC ACCESS STAIRWAY AND THE BUENA VISTA LAGOON DISCHARGE. CASE NAME: POINT SAN MALO SEAWALL CASE NO: SDP 91-10 WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the City of Carlsbad ar g referred to the Planning Commission; and 10 WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as provided by Tit1 x' (1 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and 12 WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code, the Plannin Commission did, on the 5th day of February, 1992, consider said request on propert described as: 13 14 15 16 17 18 Lot 1, Carlsbad Tract 81-35, Map 11007, recorded in San Diego County July 27, 1984 . WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all testimon 19 I and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered a 20 factors relating to SDP 91-10. 21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commissiol 22 23 24 25 of the City of Carlsbad as follows: A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct. The proposed project is consistent with the R-3 Zone and Beach Area Overlay Zor since it is a permitted use which is compatible with surrounding development. Tk seawall design follows the horizontal and vertical contour of the existing coast; bluff and the bluff area landward of the seawall will be revegetated with natil coastal strand plant species. 2. The project is consistent with the Carlsbad Mello I1 Local Coastal Program and it h received approval of a Coastal Permit from the California Coastal Commission. Conditions: Planning: 1. Approval is granted for SDP 91-10, as shown on Exhibits "A" - "E", dated Februa 5, 1992, incorporated by reference and on file in the Planning Departmen Development shall occur substantially as shown unless otherwise noted in the! conditions. 2. Approval of SDP 91-10 is granted subject to the approval of SUP 91-7. 3. The applicant shall prepare a detailed landscape and irrigation plan which shall I submitted to and approved by the Planning Director prior to the issuance of gradir or building permits, whichever occurs first. 4.
