A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF SPECIFIC PLAN
NO. 19(D) ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED SOUTH OF CANNON
ROAD, WEST AND NORTH OF CAR COUNTRY DRIVE AND EAST OF PASEO
DEL NORTE.

WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the City of Carlsbad and
referred to the Planning Commission; and
a WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as provided by Title 21 oi

11 WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code, the Planning
12 Commission did, on the 16th day of October, 1991, on the 20th day of November, 1991,
13 on the 15th day of January 1992, on the 4th day of March, 1992, on the 1st day of April,
I* 1992, and on the 20th day of May, 1992, consider said request on property described as
the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and

16 County Recorder, County of San Diego, State of California.

arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered a1

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of thl
City of Carlsbad as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
24 B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearings, the Commissiol
recommends APPROVAL of SP-l9(D), based on the following findings and subjec

2. The proposed amendment is consistent with the intent of the existing Specific Plan
The overriding goal is to uphold and surpass the high quality standards of th(
existing Car Country. This amendment does not affect the development standard
that maintain "high quality", nor does it preclude or dissuade the primary use of th(
retailing of new and used motor v&& from the area-
Condition:
1. Approval is granted for SP-l9(D), as shown on Exhibit "A", dated May 20, 1992
incorporated by reference and on file in the Planning Department.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Plannin:
Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 20th day of May, 1992, by thl
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Chairperson Erwin, Commissioners: Schlehuber, Schramm, Noble
Welshons, Savary & Hall.
