PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3487
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A SPECIAL
USE PERMIT AMENDMENT TO PLACE A 960 SQUARE FOOT
MODULAR TRAILER ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5950 EL
CAMINO REAL.
CASE NAME: ALLAN 0. KELLY OPERATIONS CENTER
CASE NO: SUP 88-02(A)
WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property, to wit:
All that portion of Lot B of Rancho Agua Hedionda, in the
County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map
thereof No. 823, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of
San Diego County, November 16, 1896, included in that
certain 6.459 acre parcel of land as shown on Record of
Survey Map No. 7345 on file in the Office of the County
Engineer of said San Diego County.
has been filed with the City of Carlsbad, and referred to the Planning Commission; anc
WHEREAS, said application constitutes a request as provided by Title 21 0.
the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 20th day of January, 1993,
hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to consider said request; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all
testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission
considered all factors relating to the Special Use Permit; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning
Commission of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Commission
APPROVES SUP 88-02(A), based on the following findings and subject to the
following conditions:

1. The proposed project is compatible with the surrounding future land uses sinc
surrounding properties are designated for industrial and office development on th
General Plan.
2. No environmental impacts are anticipated as the Planning Director has determine
the project to be categorically exempt fiom environrnental review per Sectio~
15301(e)(l) of the California Environmental Quality Act.

3. The project is in compliance with the general purpose and intent of Chapter 21.4
Conditions: 8

dated January 20, 1993, incorporated by reference and on file in the Plannin
Department. Development shall occur substantially as shown unless othenvis
noted in these conditions.
2. Approval of SUP 88-02CA) is granted subject to the approval of CUP 92-08.
