PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3621
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A GENERAL
PLAN CONSISTENCY DETERMINATION FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF ALGA ROAD BETWEEN MIMOSA DRIVE
AND EL CAMINO REAL.
CASE NAME: ALGA ROAD WIDENING IMPROVEMENTS
CASE NO: PCD/GPC 93-05
WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property to wit:
The southern portion of the Alga Road public right-of-way
located between Mimosa Drive and El Camino Real
has been filed with the City of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission; ant
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as provided b
Tide 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 2nd day of February, 199~
consider said request; and
WHEREAS, at said meeting, upon hearing all arguments, if any, of a
persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to tl
Planning Commission Determination; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the
as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the hearing, the Commissio
APPROVES PCD/GPC 93-05, based on the following findings:

1. The proposed public works project is consistent with the various elements of tt
General Plan becaw it provides for the development of public facilities conCutTe1
with the need and alleviates traffic congestion by bringing that section of A&
Road to the full, secondary arterial standards.
