PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3628
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN
AMENDMENT TO A SPECIAL, USE PERMIT REDUCING A TWO
STORY BUILDING TO A SINGLE STORY, REMOVING
PARKING SPACES AND INCREASING THE MAXIMUM
CAPACITY OF STUDENTS AND PLAY AREA FOR A DAYCARE
ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED SOUTH OF HOSP WAY
AND EAST OF EL CAMINO REAL.

8 /I WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property, to wit:

Parcel 2 of Parcel Map 8586 in the City of Carlsbad in the
County of San Diego, State of California, filed in the office of
the County Recorder of San Diego County, being a division of
portions of lots 4 and 5 in Section 32, Township 11 South,
range 4 West, San Bernardino Meridian, according to official
plat thereof.

WHEREAS, said application constitutes a request as provided by Title 21 c 14
has been filed with the City of Carlsbad, and referred to the Planning Commission; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commissio~
of the City of Carlsbad as follows:

B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Commissior
APPROVES SUP 90-01 (A), based on the following findings and subject to thf
following conditions:

1. The existing and proposed development will maintain and enhance the appearanc
of the El Camino Real roadway area through design;
2. The existing and proposed development is designed to meet the intent of th
Development Standards of the El Camino Real Corridor Development Standards
Area 1;
3. The existing and proposed development will not have an adverse impact on traffi
safety;
4. Approval of the proposed development maintains the continuance of the sceni
qualities of the El Camino Real Corridor.

1. Approval of SUP 90-01 (A) is subject to the approval of SDP 89-14(A).
2. All conditions of Planning Commission Resolution No. 3627 are applicable an
