HomeMy WebLinkAbout1994-05-18; Planning Commission; Resolution 3663rc t II 0 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3663 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A ZONE CHANGE FROM OFFICE TO TRAVEL SERVICES COMMERCIAL ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE EAST OF CARLSBAD BOULEVARD AT ANACAPA. CASE NAME: SEAPOINTE RESORT CASE NO: ZC 93-05 WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property, to wit: A portion of Lots 1 and 2 in fractional Section 20, Township 12 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, in the City of Carlsbad, in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to official plat thereof. 11 has been filed with the City of Carlsbad, as shown on Exhibit "B", dated May 1 12 attached and incorporated herein and referred to the Planning Commission; anc 13 WHEREAS, said application constitutes a request as provided by T l4 the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and 15 11 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 18th day of May, 1' 16 11 a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to consider said request; and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all t 17 18 19 li I' and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission cons 20 21 factors relating to the Zone Change; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Co 22 /I as follows: 23 // 24 I1 A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct. 25 B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Ca recommends APPROVAL of ZC 93-05, based on the following fin( 26 Findinns: 27 28 1. Potential impacts to adjacent properties caused by future development of like noise, visual quality and light can be mitigated through design. 7.
