HomeMy WebLinkAbout1995-05-17; Planning Commission; Resolution 3777r 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 0 e PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3777 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING A GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM CASE NAME 1995-1996 SUPPLEMENT TO THE BUILDOUT CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE 1995-1996 SUPPLEMENT TO THE BUILDOUT CASE NO. PCD/GPC 95-02 WHEREAS, State Law requires the City to adopt a General Plan tc development and outline goals for a balanced community, including the provision of facilities such as civic projects, drainage projects, park projects, sewer projects, projects, traffic signal projects, and street projects; and WHEREAS, programs developed for the provision of these public fa must be reviewed for consistency with the goals and policies of the General Plan; WHEREAS, in order to implement the General Plan, the City must p a program to ensure that public facilities are provided prior to or concurrent with and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 17th day of May, consider said request; and WHEREAS, at said hearing upon hearing and considering all testimo~ arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considel factors relating to the Planning Commission Determination; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commis the City of Carlsbad, as follows: A) That the above recitations are true and correct. The project is consistent with the goals and policies of the City’s Gener: which ensures and requires the provision of adequate public facilities and I concurrent with or prior to actual demand. 2. The project is consistent with the Circulation, Land Use, Public Safety and and Recreation Elements of the General Plan. Conditions: 1. All projects within the 1995-1996 supplement to the buildout Capital Improl Program shall undergo environmental review per Title 19 of the Ca Municipal Code.
