A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT
TO THE CARLSBAD LOCAL COASTAL PROGRAM TO
BRING THE REGULATIONS OF THE LOCAL COASTAL
PROGRAM, GENERAL PLAN, AND ZONING MAP INTO
CONFORMANCE CITY WIDE WITH REGARDS TO THE
HEIGHT LIMIT OF RESIDENTIAL ACCESSORY
STRUCTZTRES.

WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request for a Local
Program Amendment as provided in Public Resources Code Section 30574 and AI
18 of Subchapter 8, Chapter 2, Division 5.5 of Title 14 of the California Code of Reg

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the P
Commission of the City of Carlsbad, as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) At the end of the State mandated six week review period, star
September 7,1995, and ending on October 19,1995, staff shall presen
City Council a summary of the comments received.
C) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Corn
recommends APPROVAL of LCPA 95-12 as shown on Exhibit “X‘
November 1, 1995, attached to Planning Commisssion Resolution P
(ZCA 95-04), incorporated herein by reference, and made a part herec
on the following findings and conditions:
Findings:
1. The proposed Local Coastal Program Amendment is consistent with all apl
policies of the City of Carlsbad Local Coastal Program.
2. The proposed amendment is required to maintain consistency between the
Code and the Local Coastal Program.
Conditions:.
1. Approval of LCPA 95-12 is granted subject to the approval of ZCA 95-04.
95-12 is subject to all conditions contained in Planning Commission Resolul
3830 for ZCA 95-04.
