A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
COASTAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO. CDP 97-22 ON
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHERN
TERMINUS OF FRANCISCAN ROAD IN LOCAL FACILITIES
MANAGEMENT ZONE 22.
CASE NAME: CAMPBELL RESIDENCE
CASE NO.: CDP 97-22
WHEREAS, Tom Campbell, “Developer”, has filed a verified application
the City of Carlsbad regarding property owned by Tom Campbell, “Owner”, described as
La Costa Downs, Block 23, Lot 10
(“the Property”); and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request for a Co
Development Permit as shown on Exhibit(s) “A” -“B” dated May 22, 1997, on file ir
Planning Department, CDP 97-22, as provided by Chapter 21.201.040 of the Carlsbad Munic
Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 6th day of August 1997,
a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to consider said request; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all testin
and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all fat
relating to CDP 97-22.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Plan
Commission of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Commi:
APPROVES Coastal Development Permit CDP 97-22, based on the follo
findings and subject to the following conditions:

1. That the proposed development is in conformance with the Certified Local Co
Program and all applicable policies in that the development is a single family hous
a previously subdivided lot without impact or potential to impact coastal resourc
Conditions:
1. The Planning Commission does hereby APPROVE the Coastal Development Perm;
the project entitled Campbell Residence (Exhibit(s) “A” - “B” dated May 22, 199’
file in the Planning Department and incorporated by this reference, subject to
conditions herein set forth.) Staff is authorized and directed to make, or rec
Developer to make, all corrections and modifications to the Coastal Developn
