HomeMy WebLinkAbout1997-10-15; Planning Commission; Resolution 4192c a 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 4192 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED EAST OF CARLSBAD BOULEVARD AND SOUTH OF ISLAND WAY ON LOT 7 ON FRANSICAN ROAD IN LOCAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT ZONE 22, CASE NAME: SHORES RESIDENCE CASE NO.: CDP 97-37 WHEREAS, Mike Lloyd, “Developer”, has filed a verified application COASTAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO. CDP 97-37 ON City of Carlsbad regarding property owned by Mike Shores, “Owner”, described as Lot 7 in Block 22, La Costa Downs Unit No. 1, in the City of Carlsbad, according to Map No. 2013 as filed in the Office of the County Recorder, San Diego County on April 6,1927 (“the Property”); and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request for a Development Permit as shown on Exhibit(s) “A”-“E” dated October 15, 1997, on fi Planning Department, CDP 97-37, as provided by Chapter 21.201.040 of the Carlsbad h, Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 15th day of Octob hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to consider said request; and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all tc and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered a relating to CDP 97-37. That the proposed development is in conformance with the Certified Local Program and all applicable policies in that the site is designated for RM (Resi Medium) density development with single family dwelling units subject ta Costa Downs Specific Plan. The proposed single family residence m applicable standards and implements the LCP Land Use Plan designation and the La Costa Downs Specific Plan. 2. The proposed development is located in the Coastal Resource Protection Zone. However, due to its location and the absence of slopes steeper th inclination and/or native vegetation, additional standards or findings do not 3. The Planning Director has determined that the proposed project is exem environmental review subject to CEQA Categorical Exemption 15303 (sing1 construction). Conditions: 1.
