A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE CARLSBAD
LOCAL COASTAL PROGRAM TO AMEND THE ZONING
MAP PORTION THEREOF, BEING THE CITY ZONE MAP, AS
SHOWN ON THE ATTACHED EXHIBIT ON PROPERTY
LOCATED ON THE CORNER OF PARK DRIVE AND
MONROE STREET.

WHEREAS, California State law requires that the Local Coastal I
General Plan, and Zoning designations for properties in the Coastal Zone be in conforma

application for an amendment to the Local Coastal Program designations regarding

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 1st day of July, 199
the 15th day of July, 1998 hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to

WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all tc

I WHEREAS, State Coastal Guidelines requires a six week public review pt
any amendment to the Local Coastal Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the 1
Commission of the City of Carlsbad, as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) At the end of the State mandated six week review period, starting on 1
1998 and ending on July 1, 1998 staff shall present to the City Cc
summary of the comments received.
C) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Con

shown on Exhibit “LCPA 97-12”, based on the following finding:
