CASE NAME: ZONE 5 PARK PROPERTY CASE NO: PCD/GPC 98-02 WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad , “Developer”, has filed a verified apl with the City of Carlsbad regarding property owned by Barbara Higdon, Albert Steinc Sondra Steindorf, “Owner”, described as All that portion of lot “F” of Rancho Agua Hedionda, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, according to map thereof No. 823, filed in the office of the county recorder of San Diego County, November 16,1896; and Parcels 1 through 4 inclusive, of Parcel Map 8403, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, according to map thereof filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, February 8,1979. (“the Property”); and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request for a Commission Determination of General Plan Consistency as provided by ZONE : PROPERTY, PCD/GPC 98-02, and Section 65402 of the California Government Co WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 5th day of Augur consider said request; and WHEREAS, at said hearing, upon hearing and considering all testin: arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered a relating to the Planning Commission Determination of General Plan Consistency; and ... c ll e 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the I Commission as follows: A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct. B) That based on the evidence presented at the hearing, the Con APPROVES ZONE 5 PARK PROPERTY, PCD/GPC 98-02, based following findings and subject to the following conditions: Findings: 1. This project is consistent with the goals, objectives, and policies of the City’s Plan in that it ensures and requires the provision of adequate public facili services concurrent with or prior to actual demand. 2. The project is consistent with the Land Use, Open Space and Conservation, and P Recreation Elements of the General Plan in that the project satisfies th objectives, and policies of providing a diversity of land uses, providing for t space needs of the citizens, providing a comprehensive park system, PI recreational amenities for the citizens, and providing parks prior to, or COL with, need as defined by the Growth Management Plan. 3. As provided for in the General Plan, the proposed property acquisition for parkhecreational facility is consistent with the City’s Growth Management Plan will ensure that necessary improvements are provided for in accordance 1 performance standards of Growth Management. ... ... ,.. ... ... ... i . ..
