CASE NAME: LOHF SUBDIVISION CASE NO: ZC 97-06 WHEREAS, LAMCO Housing, Inc., “Developer”, has filed a application with the City of Carlsbad regarding property owned by Lohf Trust and Lamplugh Trust, “Owner”, described as CONTROL (L-C) TO ONE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL WITH A Parcel 2 of Map No. 2244, filed in the Office of the County Recorder on January 10, 1974 and the southern half of the northeast quarter of Section 26, Township 12 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino Meridian, all in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California. B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the COI RECOMMENDS APPROVAL of LOHF SUBDIVISION - ZC 97-06 the following findings: Findines: 1. That the proposed Zone Change from Limited Control (L-C) to One Residential with a Qualified Development Overlay (R-1-7,500-Q) is consis the goals and policies of the various elements of the General Plan, in that the 1 single-family residential zoning designation adequately implements the RLM - Residential Low Medium and RM - Residential Medium Density Plan designations for the property and no other elements are affected proposed Zone Change. 2. That the Zone Change will provide consistency between the General Plan and 2 mandated by California State law and the City of Carlsbad General Plan L Element, in that the existing L-C designation does not implement the RLM Plan designation, whereas the proposed R-1-7,500-Q implements the RLM Plan designation. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 21 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY AN AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING MAP TO GRANT A ZONE CHANGE, ZC 97-06, FROM LIMITED CONTROL (L-C) TO ONE FAMILY RESI- DENTIAL WITH A QUALIFIED DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY WEST OF EL CAMINO REAL, BETWEEN CASSIA ROAD AND DOVE LANE IN THE SOUTHWEST QUADRANT. CASE NAME: LOHF SUBDIVISION CASE NO.: ZC 97-06 The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does ordain as follov SECTION I: That Section 21.05.030 of the Carlsbad Municipal I amended by the amendment of the zoning map as shown on the map attached hereto, Ex 97-06, and made a part hereof. (R-1-7,500-Q) FOR 36.7 ACRES GENERALLY LOCATED SECTION 11: That the findings and conditions of the Planning Commi set forth in Planning Commission Resolution No. 4425 constitute the findings and cond: the City Council.
