HomeMy WebLinkAbout2003-07-16; Planning Commission; Resolution 54271 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 VOID I I PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 5427 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING ADOPTION OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT, ZONE CODE AMENDMENT AND LOCAL COASTAL PROGRAM AMENDMENT TO AMEND THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN AND TITLE 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE BY INCORPORATING THE PROVISIONS OF ASSEMBLY BILL NO. 2292 INTO THE GENERAL PLAN AND ZONING ORDINANCE, DELETING THE PROVISION IN THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN THAT STATES RESIDENTIAL DENSITY BELOW THE MINIMUM OF THE DENSITY RANGE IS CONSIDERED CONSISTENT WITH THE GENERAL PLAN, AND RELOCATING THE DEFINITION OF “QUADRANT” FROM ZONING ORDINANCE SECTION 21.90.045 TO SECTION 21.90.020. CASE NAME: ASSEMBLY BILL NO. 2292 IMPLEMENTATION CASE NO.: GPA 03-06/ZCA 03-02lLCPA 03-05 WHEREAS, the Planning Director has prepared an amendment to the General Plan and Title 21 of the Municipal Code (Zoning Ordinance) to ensure consistency with Assembly Bill No. 2292; WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration was prepared in conjunction with said project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 16th day of July 2003, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to consider said request; and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all testimony and arguments, if any, examining the initial study, analyzing the information submitted by staff, and considering any written comments received, the Planning Commission considered all factors relating to the Negative Declaration. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commission as follows: A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
