consistent with the General Plan and APPROVES PCD/GPC 06-01 based on the
following findings:
Findings;
6
1. This project is consistent with the goals, objectives, policies, and implementation
programs of the City's General Plan in that the property proposed for disposal is not
needed for necessary public infrastructure and the City Council has identified the
property as unnecessary to the foreseeable needs of the City. Further, disposition
9 of the property would not preclude the property's use for residential purposes
consistent with its General Plan designation.
10
2. That the Planning Director has determined that the project belongs to a class of projects
that the State Secretary for Resources has found do not have a significant impact on the
environment, and it is therefore categorically exempt from the requirement for the
preparation of environmental documents pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the State
13 CEQA Guidelines. In making this determination, the Planning Director has found that
the exceptions listed in Section 15300.2 of the state CEQA Guidelines do not apply to
this project.
