The City Council of the CZty of Carlsbad does ordain as
follows :
Section 1, ADOPTION OF TIDE: PLUIBING CODE OF TIIE: GOU" OF
SAH DIEGO,
San Diego as contained in Ordinance No. 2.24. (New Series), as
amended by 234 (New Series), 4%6 (New Series), 528 (New.Series),
530 (New Series), 581 (New Series), 632 (~ew Series), 647 (Mew
Series), 652 (New Series), 705 (New Series), 734 (New Series),
773 (New Series), 811 (Xew Series), 821 (New Series), 872 (Mew
The provisions of Yne Plumbing Code of the County of
Series), 875 (r;iew Series), 633 (New Series), 711 (New Series),
and 863 (New Series), we hereby adopted as the Plumbing Ordinance
of Yne City of CmIsbad, three copies of which Ordinances are on
file in Vne office of the City Clerk for public inspection, and
the same are hereby made a part hereof as if fully set out In
this ordinance, subject to such alterations and additions as
hereinafter may be set forth.
Section 2. DBFSNITIONS ,
Kherever the words "Cowlty of San Diego" or
"unincorporated area of the County of San Diego" shall appar,
they shall mean City or" Carlsbad,
Wherever the words "Chief of the Divi-sion of Sanita-

ment," and the words "Department of Public Health" shall appear,
they shall mean Building Inspector,
Wherever the words "County Treasury" shall appear,
they shall Mean City Treasury.
Wherever the words "County Plmbing Ordinance" shall

City, all force and effect of said County Ordinances
upon this City have temnlnated,
THEREFORE, it is necessary that this Ordinance take
effect immediately in order that plumbing regulations
may be establZshed for the public peace, health and
safety of the citizens of Carlsbad,

Section 8, The City Clerk of the City of GarLsbad shall
be and he is directed to cause this Ordinance to be published
once in the Carlsbad Journal, a newsgaper published and of
general circulation in said City of Carlsbad,
Passed, adopted, approved and ordered published by the
City Council of the City of Cwlsbad, CalifornSa, this 29th day
of July, 1952, by the following vote, to-wit:
Ayes: S-Lrtton, Ede, Castorena, Grober, and Hayor l!icClellan
