HomeMy WebLinkAbout1952-12-02; City Council; 9008; Buena Vista Gardens portion rezone R-4/C-1 to R-1IEECR%AS, the City Planning Commission has recommended that certain lands in Btxena Vista Gardens and a portion of Lot 1, Section 1, Tom- ship 12 South, Range 5 Vest, be changed from Zones E-4 and C-l to Zone R-1; and l@iE?XAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad finds that public necessity and convenience require thafi such zone change be made; XOW TKBU!PORF, parsuant to Ordinance KO, 9005, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does ordain as follows: SECTION 1, That all of Buena Vista Gardens and a; portion of Lot 1, Section 1, Township 12 South, Range 5 West, described as: AI1 of Buena Vista Gardens in the City of Carlsbad, accord- ing to Hap thereof Bo, 2492, Piled in the office of the County Recorder of SaEn Diego County August 4, 1948, Also, tha€ portios of Lot 1, Section 1, Tomship 12 South, Range 5 West, San Bernadino Neridian, in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to United States Government Survey approved June 22, 1883, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the Vest line of the 40 foot easement for private road as shown on &p of Buena Vista Gardens No, 2492, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, August 4, 1948, with the North line of Laguna Drive as shown on Xap of Seaside Lands Xo. 1722, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, July 286 1921; thence along the Xorth lin8 of said Laguna Drive Morth 89 50' Test 90 feet; thence North 0 16t 35" East parallel with the Vest line of said private road to the Southerly boundary of" said Bugna V5sto Gardens, according to said %Tap Xo. 2492; thence South 77 the Vest line of said private road; thence South 0 16' 35" West 39' East along said*boundary to - along the said West line 222.32 feet to the point of beginning, be and the same hereby are okanged from Zones R-4 and C-1 to Zone R-l, and the same shall be subject to all the privileges and restrictions and I % uses prescribed in Zone R-1 as set forth in Ordinance Xo. 9005 of the City of Carlsbad. SSCTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force on the thirty-first day from and after its final passage. EZCTIOM 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby directed to cause this Ordinance to be published once in the Carlsbad Journal, a newspaper published and of general circulation in the said City of Carl sbad.
