No person shall ignite, set fire to or burn rubbish, grass or any other combustible material upon any street, sidewalk, alley, lot, or any private poperty in an open fire except upon the issuance of a burning peraft therefor. SECTION 2, ISSUAKCEJ OF PEXMIT. Any person desiring a pemit 8s reqcired by Section 1 hereof may make application to the City Clerk a.t the City Hall of the City of Carlsbad, who shall receive the application for the permit, Said permit before behg issued shall be referred to the Fire Chief of the Volunteer FZre Department of the City of Cmlsbad, or his duly appointed deputy, for his approval and s3.gm-ture STECIAL CONDITIONS, The FLre Chief of the Volunteer Fire Department of the City of Carlsbad, or his duly appointed depu-ty, may attach such special conditions as he may deem appropriate for the purpose, of insuring that no fire hazard be created by the issuance of such permit. - SECTION 4. SECTION 7.- Tlie City Clerk of the City of Car1sba.a is hereby directed to muse this Ord-inance to be pblished once in the Car1sba.d J-ournal, a. newspaper published and of general circulation in said City of Carlsbad.
