AN OBDIMAHCE OF THB CITY OF CABLSBAf, CEARGING
ZONZ OF CERTAiN PORTIONS OF CPiELLSBAD TOWNSITE
AND CERTAIN PORTIONS OF CAIlLSBAD LANDS FFiOll
ZONE R-2 TO ZOME C-1.
WEERZAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended that certain
portions of Carlsbad Townsite and certain portzons of Carlsbad Lands be
changed from Zone El-2 to Zone C-1; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad finds that public
necessity and convenience require that such zone changes be made;
NOW THEBEPORE, pursuant to Ordinance No. 9005, the City Council
of the Ci%y of Carlsbad does ordain as follows:
SECTION I. That, the Following portions of Csrlsbad Tomsite in
the City of Carlsbad, County of %n Diego, State of Cdifornia, accordin@;
to Hap thereof Eo, 775, filed in the office of the Recorder of San Diego
County on February 15, 1894, described as:

Lots 17, 18, 19 and 20 of Block 48; Lots 29, 30, 33. and 32 of Block 49; Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 29, 30, 31 a&i 32 of Block 56; Lots 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 of Block 57; Lots 13, 14, 15, and 16 of Block 66; and Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Block 67,
and That, the following portions of Carlsbad Lands in the City of Carlsbad,
County of San Diego, State of California, according to Nap thereof No.
1661, filed, in the office of the Becorder of San Diego County on March 1,
1915, described as:
The Northerly 100 feet of' %act 115, Westerly &E California State Highway XI-SD-23; and the Souther- ly 100 feet of Tract 1.17, Westerly c% Californfa State Highway XL-SD-2BY
be and the same hereby are changed from Zone B-2 to Zone C-1, and the
sme shall be subject to all the pivileges and restrictions and uses
ps?escribed in Zone C-1 as set forth in OrdfLnance No, 9005 of the City
of Carlsbad.
SECTION 2, This Ordinavlce shall take effect and be in force on
the thirty-first day from and- after its final passa-ge.
SECTION '3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby directea
to cause this Ordinance to be published once in the Carlsbad Jou.mal,, a
newspaper published and of general circulation in said City of Carlsbad,
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City
held on the -.,-.2M day of June 9 1953, and finally
adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held
on the' 16th day of June , 1953, by the following
vote :
