WEEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended that a
portion of Tract 256, Thum Lands, and a portion of Lot J, Ra.nc'no &ua
Hedionda, being a portion of a tentative map of Carlsbad Estates approved
by the City Council of the Ciw of Carlsbad on July 21, 1953, be changed
from Zone E-2 to Zone R-1; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad finds that public
necessity and convenience require that smh zone changes be made;
NOW TPHER.@WRE, pursuant to Ordinance No. 9005, the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1, That, those lands described as:
That portion of Tract 256 of Thwn Lands, according to Hap thereof No. 1681, filed in the Office of the County Becopder of said San Diego County December 9, 1915, bounded by a line described as follows: Beginning at a concrete monument at the intersection of the center line of County Avenue and the Northwesterly prolongation of the Northeasterly boundary line of said Tract No. 256; thence South 23 degrees 33 minutes East along the said Northwesterly prolongation of the Nojjtheasterly boundary line of said Tract
256 and along the Northeasterly boundary line of said Tract 256, a distance of 114.01 feet to a concrete monument at the South- easterly corner of said Tract 256; thence South 26 degrees 11 minutes West along the Southeasterly bounitary line of said Tract 256, 91.74 feet to a point; thence North 23 degrees 33 minutes West, a distance of 200.88 feet to a point on the said center line of County Avenue; thence North 8'7 degrees 57 minutes 30 seconds East along the center line of County Avenue, a dis- tance of''75.24 feet to the point of beginning, And , Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of said Lot J, Bancho Agua Hedionda; thence North 23 degrees 33 minutes West; along the Southwesterly line of said Lot J, a distance of lOO.92 feet to a point; thence South 69 degrees 30 minutes 20 seconds East a dis- tance 82.50 feet to a point; thence South 23 degrees 33 minutes East a distance of 70.00 feet to a point on the Southerly line of said. Lot J, distant thereon South 89 degrees 42 minu-tes 10 seconds East 65.00 feet from the point,of beginning; thence North 89 de- grees 42 minutes 10 seconds Vest along said Southerly line 65.00 feet to the point of beginning.

same shall be subject to all the privileges and restrictions and uses
prescribe& in Zone E-1 as set forth in Ordinance No. 9005 of the City
of Carlsbad..

This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force on
day from and after its final passage.
The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby direc-
ted to cause this Ordinance to be published once in the Carlsbad Journal,
a newspaper published and of geneml circula-tion in said City of Carlsbad.
First read at a reguler meeting of the City Council of said City
held on the 35th day of September, 1953, and finally adlopted ana ordered
published at a regular meeting of said Council held on the
October, 1953, by the following vote:
