9 SECTION I (0) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1005 AMENDED. Section I (0)
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby
10 of Ordinance No. 1005 is hereby repealed and amended to read as

Correction of typographical or clerical errors are not
to be considered as alterations, r the purposes of
this section an adjourned meeting to be considered
as a regular meeting."
SECTION IT, This ordinance is hereby clared to be an
urgency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public peace, health and safety, and shall take effect im-
31 mediately. The following is a statement of the facts showing
32 it% urgency:

a That the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
2 envisions that certain lengthy ordinances are about
3
4 and that to require a full reading of such proposed
5 ordinances would unduly interfeswith and delay the
6 City Council in their efficient, orderly and expedient
7 management of the governmental affairs of the City of
8 Carlsbad; that to provide for an orderly form of
9 government this ordinance is necessary and shall take
to be introduced and passed by the City Council;
10 effect immediately.
12 SECTION 111, PUBLICATION. The City Clerk of the City of
13 Carlsbad is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be
3.4 published once in the Carlsbad Journal, a newspaper published
15 and of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad,
3.9 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at an adjourned regular
3.8 meeting of the City Council held on the 21st day of March, 1956,
