CERTAIN HOURS; DEFINING DUTIES OF PiWBNTS OR OTHERS IN CARE OF MINORS M)R VIOLATIOM HEEf3OF. $ND m"G FOR ARREST m~ PBNALTIES 7 8 9 follows: The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does ordain as 10 It shall be unlawful for any minor under the age 11 of eighteen (18) years, to loiter, idle, wander, or stroll or play 12 in or upon the public streets, highways, roads, alleys, parks, 13 playgrounds, wharves, docks, or other public grounds, public places 14 and public buildings, places of amusement and entertainment, vacant 15 lots, or other unsupervised places, between the hours of ten otcc90ck 16 P, Me and daylight immediately following, provided, however, that 1'7 the provisions of this section do not apply when the minor is aceon- 18 panied by his or her parent or parents, guardian, or other adult 19 person having the care and custody of the minor, or when the minor 20 is upon an emergency errand directed by his or her parent or guardian 21 or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor, or 22 when the minor is returning directly home from a meeting, entertain- 23 ment or r 24 the local educational authorities, or when the presence of such 25 minor in said place or places is connected with and required by some 26 legitimate business, trade, profession or occupation in which said 27 minor is lawfully engaged, 28 29 stitute a separate offense. 30 31 other adult person having the care and custody of a minor under the 32 age of eighteen (18) years, to permit or allow such minor to loiter, SECTION 9, tivfty directed, supervised op sponsored by Each violation of the provisions of this section shall con- SECTION 2.
