AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE FROM
PROPERTY TAXES NECESSARY TO SUPPORT
THE DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD AND FIXING THE AMOUNT OF
REVENUE FROM PROPERTY TAXES NECES-
SARY TO PAY THE BONDED INDEBTEDNESS
OF THE "CITY OF CARLSBAD SEWER DISTRICT
NO. 2" FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1963-64.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. REVENUE REQUIRED FROM PROPERTY TAXES FOR
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.
to Section 51508 of the Government Code of the State of California, does hereby
by this ordinance, fix the amount of revenue from property taxes necessary to
support its departments for the fiscal year commencing July I, 1963 and ending
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, pursuan
June 30, 1964, to be in the amount of $438,509.
SECTION 2. REVENUE REQUIRED FROM PROPERTY TAXES FOR
THE "CITY OF CARLSBAD SEWER DISTRICT NO, 2". The City Council
of the City of Carlsbad, pursuant to Section 51508 of the Government Code of
the State of California does hereby, by this ordinance, fix the amount of
revenue from property taxes necessary to pay the bonded indebtedness of the
City of Carlsbad Sewer District No. 2" for the fiscal year commencing
July I, 1963 and ending June 30, 1964, to be in the amount of $6, 784. 00.

SECTION 3. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does herewith adopt
the following schedule of anticipated expenditures of the City of Carlsbad for the
fiscal year commencing July 1, 1963 and ending June 30, 1964:

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect on the date of its passage
and adoption, pursuant to the provisions of subsection (d) of Section 36, 937 of
the Government Code of the State of California.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby directed
to cause this Ordinance to be published once in the Carlsbad Journal, a
newspaper published and of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of August 1963, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen McPherson, Bierce, Guevara, Neiswender and Hughes.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
